The result is nine short, sweet songs in which meticulous, nuanced beats drive lucid, mellifluous guitar lines and candid, vulnerable lyrics. While the influence of math-rock artists such as TTNG is equally obvious to that of The Smiths, The Cure and other indie bands of the 80s, the band cite Death Cab for Cutie and American Football as sentimental favourites, and folk-influenced fingerstyle guitar is a vital facet of the band's sound.
