Proudly showing off their love for hard-hitting rock, mixing it with the no-nonsense attitude of punk, adding catchy melodies on top of steady modern beats – this is Salt Lake City Social Club. Despite their name, this band is not from the Beehive State, but from the outskirts of Stockholm, Sweden. And they want to continue representing a firm Swedish songwriting tradition. Starting off playing their favourite songs by bands such as Danko Jones, The Hellacopters, The Sounds, Queens Of The Stone Age, Juliette & The Licks and Black Sabbath, the gang has now moved on to write original material. Singer Leia tattooing the band’s bold logotype across her forearm is not the only proof that Salt Lake City Social Club is here to stay. This band has a steadfast commitment to rock on.
