Saltwater

Saltwater is an acoustic trio based in Tel-Aviv, Israel, that plays original alternative folk music. The band strives to create music and lyrics derived from the players’ inner-most experiences in order to deeply connect with people around the world.

The trio’s members originally met while studying toward an undergraduate degree in music. In 2019 they started playing and singing together near Jaffa Port, finding inspiration from the surrounding sea. They found their own unique sound through their strong personal connection and shared approach to the creative process. Soon they started playing at local venues and enjoyed intimate crowds. Simultaneously they also began recording their original songs. This process was a challenging learning experience, complete with self-discoveries and group bonding. The intensity of this journey made the connection between the three members much stronger, allowing new energy to pour into the music.

Saltwater is now in the process of releasing its debut album. Their first single "One More Day" was written during a time of uncertainty and holds a message of hope and gratitude, that as long as we are still here we have time to learn, heal and grow.
