SALVATORE MEDIANA is an Estonian born DJ currently based in Helsinki, Finland. He grew up fooling around with a bunch of cassettes and soon he moved on to playing vinyl decks. His DJ’ing career started back when he was 13 performing his first ever gig in an underground bunker. His unique style of hard techno with groovy basslines and breakdowns has brought him a long way from those days, landing him a large group of fans in the Nordics.
Today he is a regular face behind the decks in some of Helsinki's most infamous nightclubs and has already made a name for himself internationally by playing in Estonia, England, Lebanon and Spain. He has shared a stage with big names such as Enrico Sangiuliano, Layton Giordani, Nusha, Manuel De La Mare, Mark Reeve, Egbert and Oscar L to name only a few.
He has appeared on Beatport’s Techno top charts multiple times and so far his bestseller has been 'Fallen Angels' made together with Tony Romanello for the legendary IAMT label. ‘Fallen Angels’ peaked at #11 in techno top100 chart and has received international support from artists like Spartaque, Richie Hawtin and Cristian Varela. Another succesful release was an EP named ‘Reborn’ which was a collaboration between him and his good friend Martin K4rma. ‘Reborn’ stayed #1 for 3 weeks on Beatport Hard Techno Top100 release chart.
