"Once upon a time there was a wild child who grew up a kid. Every day he would go outside with his friends and run and be care free. But, one day he grew up and the reality of the importance of life and its meaning hit him. Because of that, he had a lot of questions. Because of that, he tried to figure out the answers, to everything. Until finally he realised it was impossible. And ever since then, he’s been wrestling with that."
From an early age in the Highlands of Scotland, Sam's musical environment coaxed him into playing. As a teenager he began to write songs about the life he had, the situations and the people around him.
A soundscape artist and a deeply thoughtful lyricist, Sam's music reveals more meaning the more one listens.
