Sam Coppenger

Originally from Pensacola FL, Sam Coppenger is a singer/songwriter now based in Nashville, TN. Influenced by artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, and John Mayer, Coppenger takes pride in pairing thoughtful lyrics with his brand of alternative pop folk music.


"For the most part, my songs are self-written pieces of advice, little reminders that I often need to hear. They remind me to not worry so much about things outside of my control, but to live in the moment. They remind me to fully embrace the long, difficult journey that is building a meaningful relationship. They remind me that an unconditional, dependable love is something that we all deeply desire. They remind me to not put walls up, but to feel everything, the good and the bad. They remind me to take chances; to ask the girl to dance, to ask important questions, and to be passionate in everything I do. They remind me to step outside of my comfort zone, to jump off of the cliff into the water below. They remind me to have life, life lived in young fashion.
