Sam Jones

Nestled deep in the woods of the Kingston peninsula in his cozy off-grid cabin, Sam Jones can often be found writing songs inspired by his surroundings. Whether he's watching the family of eagles that lives in a nearby pine tree, tending to his garden, or exploring the forest with his two charming dogs, Sam's music often reflects his admiration for the simple joys of life and the beauty of nature. His indie/folk/rock style pairs perfectly with his mellow voice and guitar playing, as he weaves compelling stories into melodies. Along with original pieces, Sam enjoys performing covers by indie and folk artists during performances, such as The Lumineers, Tyler Childers, Shakey Graves, Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan. His other musical ventures include his part as the lead guitarist and one of three vocalists in the energetic band, The Kingston Collective. Sam's first solo EP, Sunshine Hermit, contains 7 original tracks, one of which is written and sung beautifully by his partner Tori Patterson.
