Santiago Ortega, aka Sam Ourt, is a Venezuelan producer born in the city of Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela.

With Indigenous Guajira and Añú roots, Sam's childhood and life have been surrounded by music, influenced by his parents, who are also musicians of Venezuelan folk music.

For two years, he worked on developing his sound, and in 2017 he launched his project, Sam Ourt. Not one to shy away from success, he has established himself over the years as one of the most respected producers in the Latin American and European music industries. He has been supported by some of the most renowned labels in the world, including titans like Spinnin Records, Warner Music, Sony, and NCS, amassing over 200 million streams across platforms.

Initially known for his melodic and futuristic sound, which gained international recognition through the music platform NCS, he later evolved his musical style toward a more mature and refined concept, pushing the boundaries of his artistic expression.

He is now becoming a prominent figure in the Latin house, tech house, and Afro house scenes, gaining recognition from curators and tastemakers around the world

Sam's career has been endorsed multiple times by renowned artists such as David Guetta, Chris Lake, Roger Sanchez, B JONES, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren, Gordo, Don Diablo, Firebeatz, Laidback Luke, Fedde Le Grand, Bingo Players, Tony Romera, Blasterjaxx, Les Castizos, Chris Valencia, Crusy, Jude & Frank, among others.
