Sam was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. When attending college in Chicago, IL he began writing songs and playing small house shows with friends. His EP <a href="spotify:album:7hxM5LHwHMXaNTWr0yqxBK" data-name="Broken Instruments">Broken Instruments</a> was made with his two best friends in their apartment basement. Sam now lives in San Diego, CA with his wife Lindsey, where he continues to write songs and make little animations.
