Sam & the Black Seas

Alternative folk band formed in Milan by the singer-songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:6iDdMsO1FezWildExhUEjy" data-name="Samuele Rampani">Samuele Rampani</a>. Starting as a performing duo with Mattia (<a href="spotify:artist:2S9e1hAGqLqWcjanufgFcn" data-name="Marta Sui Tubi">Marta Sui Tubi</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2uFUBdaVGtyMqckSeCl0Qj" data-name="Ludovico Einaudi">Ludovico Einaudi</a> , <a href="spotify:artist:0TUkDO5OBbWdmEqS2hWu8S" data-name="Marina Rei">Marina Rei</a> ) playing cello and Sam on vocals-guitar, the band added the guitarist Andrea (<a href="spotify:artist:2QWrpLRDeBD1NwWAsytBRi" data-name="Diodato">Diodato</a>) to make the harmonies richer, and to better support funky and alt-pop rhythms it completed its formation with Stefano on drums. The London based label Atomic Fat recorded the first studio album under the name Sam and the Black Seas. In the band&#39;s manifesto you can find a beautiful acoustic sound, intense melodies and dreamlike lyrics. After releasing 4 singles with official videos, the band performed in London at the 02 Islington, The Garage, The Borderline, 93 Feet East and The Dublin Castle. Sam became an endorser of Cort Guitars while few songs were featured in Fabio Volo TV serie, Untraditional. On March 2017, the album SILVER was released with a live show at the Hoxton Square Bar in London followed by a gig at Circolo Ohibò in Milan. In 2018 the band played around north Italy, with Emanuele (<a href="spotify:artist:1F3C8pMF4AiLhSpeMpzfJO" data-name="Stella Maris">Stella Maris</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:16VwDz5nZgs3ZPEN5xmORY" data-name="Francesco Sarcina">Francesco Sarcina</a>) on drums. The single Agata has been featured on Radio Deejay - Il Volo del Mattino.
