Sam Varga's debut album "Shadow Work" is the harrowing sonic diary of someone taking back their life and transmuting all the bad into something empowering and hopeful. The project is an exciting and seamless blend of folk, punk, and alt-country toplined with a wit that makes the hardest subjects easier to face.
