Based out of the lush music scene in Austin, TX, Sami and The Engine resonate with Indie Rock sensibilities. Members Sami Serrano (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Justin Pratt (lead guitar), Geronimo Sabat (bass), Bret Lantz (keys), and Ray Cardenas (drums) bring a new flavor to their genre with the combination of their individual styles. Merging Sami's pop and soul flavored vocals, Justin's dynamic and powerful guitar lines, Geronimo's pulsing and grounding bass licks, Bret’s atmospheric and seemingly limitless keyboard skills, and Ray's driving drum grooves, the quintet captures the ear of their audience and will leave you humming their catchy hooks long after listening. The group has currently released their first self-titled, 4-track EP and are looking ahead to their first full-length album.
