Samitha Samarathunga

Samitha Samarathunga is a composer from Sri Lanka. He has received Best Music Direction at the State Children's Drama Festival in 2014 and 2017, as well as the State Award for Best Critic in the School category in 2010. Is a musicology lecturer by profession. Participated in a number of international music research sessions and obtained expertise in music research. He like to write music based on classical music and Sri Lankan traditional music. As a sound engineer, lyricist, and composer, he has contributed to many works. He was a Music Composer/Producer/Mixing Engineer/Recording Engineer/Songwriter, among other things. With a personality that crosses the gap between traditional and contemporary music, he is currently one of Sri Lanka's most in-demand artisans. He is categorized as Indian Classical, Electronic, Contemporary Indian Pop, and Dubstep in terms of music. He was introduced to classical Indian and Sri Lankan music as a youth, which strengthened his artistic roots.
