Samitowski

Full name: Bartosz Samitowski. Music producer, composer &amp; guitarist. He places his work in the areas of alternative, experimental, neo-sacred music, ambient, nu jazz, industrial, dark pop and electronica. From 2013 to 2015 he played in the Swedish band <a href="spotify:artist:23Y6JHcXyUI3lpBkFNQ4Xt" data-name="Cotton Ferox">Cotton Ferox</a>. Since 2015, he co-founded the band <a href="spotify:artist:2D7b4oShDf34xlWqK6Te90" data-name="Audio Spirits">Audio Spirits</a> with Thomas Tibert. The band collaborated, among others, with the Japanese ambient master <a href="spotify:artist:7j2JutGjMXE3QrXna7ktGD" data-name="Kazuya Nagaya">Kazuya Nagaya</a>). In 2018 he joined Kasai. Their album <a href="spotify:album:4AlaXixiQM213xrYkjlfEB" data-name="Equals Kattegat Session (Live)">Equals Kattegat Session (Live)</a> received a nomination for the major Polish music award Fryderyk in the category &#34;Album of the Year 2021: Alternative&#34;. As a guitarist of Kasai, he played in joint projects with <a href="spotify:artist:64javKUlz2LAoOMtQfUFj9" data-name="Novika">Novika</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4RJYkHAe8ApeuIHWYkWCWy" data-name="Y (BOKKA)">Y (BOKKA)</a>. As a lyricist, he collaborated with and with <a href="spotify:artist:10JL3Itycb70lP4ZIA6qjp" data-name="Muniek Staszczyk">Muniek Staszczyk</a>.

He founded the &#34;garage&#34; band <a href="spotify:artist:3mNlQ3kSx0NyAFVo514ct3" data-name="Grumpy Old Teenagers">Grumpy Old Teenagers</a> with outstanding musicians: guitarist Leslaw Matecki (Kaśka Sochacka, Kortez, Artur Rojek, Brodka) and bassist Thomas Dogiel (<a href="spotify:artist:1KPrYtMVWCjCMtRGb3n3Ja" data-name="Oszibarack">Oszibarack</a>, Novika, ex-Bokka). He is currently working on the &#34;Poświaty&#34; album with Bańka &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:4iJve8QGQMl0PpIDmRG73G" data-name="Leszek Możdżer">Leszek Możdżer</a>, a soundtrack for a Swedish movie &#34;Masken&#34; and an album in the duo Bańka | Samitowski.

In 2023, he founded the Polish branch of the American music label Erototox Decodings. Samitowski is also a qualified Jungian psychoanalyst.
