LA-based DJ/producer Sampson brings a fresh voice to the arena of house music. Sampson got his start as a beat maker for local rappers and singers in Los Angeles. As he continued to evolve his skill and sound, which eventually led to self-guided Ableton production, Sampson’s many influences eventually crystallized in a production style that is dirty, sexy, and visceral. A decade later, Sampson has cultivated a clear voice and sonic identity, making tracks that are geared to move the body.

Whether working squarely in the mode of tech house or experimenting with more complex rhythms, Sampson infuses the expected with the unexpected, incorporating moody, subdued basslines with gritty synth work.
