Sampy Sax is a Colombian-American saxophonist and producer blending Afro-house, deep house, and Latin rhythms into a sound shaped by his life.
He grew up trained in the classroom at New World School of the Arts in Miami, but most of his style came from being out in the world. Before the studios and the festivals, he spent years traveling and playing his sax wherever people would listen: streets, markets, hostels, beaches, rooftops, and anywhere a crowd might pass by. Over 56 countries later, from Africa and Asia to the Middle East, Australia, and all through Latin America, he learned how to read a crowd, win them over, and create special moments.
Now based in Medellín, Sampy Sax is carving out his own lane in electronic sax music. His music connects cultures, blends genres, and tells the story of everywhere he has been through every track.
