Meet Sam Skara Rad—aka Melbourne's own Simon Marrocco—a genre-bending artist whose music is as vibrant as his journey. From a hilltop village in Italy to the heart of Australia's music scene, Simon's life has been a kaleidoscope of sound, spirit, and transformation.
🎶 Started in choirs, found a $50 note, bought a guitar, and never looked back. From folk to Hendrix-fueled rock, he lit up stages with King Cobra and The Mood, sharing the spotlight with legends like Men at Work and Cold Chisel.
🧘♂️ After the amps cooled, Simon dove deep into yoga, studying with B.K.S. Iyengar and founding St Kilda Yoga School. But music called him back—louder than ever.
🔥 Now reborn as Sam Skara Rad, he fuses hip hop with in deep love’n insight, crafting tracks that pulse with colour, freedom, and non-dual wisdom. With producers like Kevin Aneaji and Austin Leeds (Avicii), his sound is fresh, fearless, and full of heart.
