SAMURAI PIZZA CATS were founded in 2021 and consists of Daniel Haniß (Electric Callboy), Sebastian Fischer, Robin Scheer and Stefan Reufer. The band name is a reference to an anime series from the 90s.
By naming their music “Catcore from Castrop” the band combines Metalcore and Deathcore as well as electronic elements. For the first singles, they were able to gain strong feature guests, including members of Future Palace and For I Am King. More music is in the works. Their first album „You’re Hellcome“ hit the Top 100 German Album Charts, and their second album „Press Start“ is on the way to be released via Century Media Records on March 27th.
