Sandeep Batraa, a software engineer from Delhi University, is trained in Hindustani Classical Music under Pt. Baldev Raj Verma. He enthralled the music lovers when he stepped on the stage to sing at the tender age of six and has won various National level competitions both on screen and off screen including Best Singer award by A R Rahman and Khayyam Sahib at a Nation wide Talent hunt in 2005 and All India Radio’s Best Ghazal Singer in 2004 . Winner of SaReGaMaPa (Zee Tv) , Sandeep became a familiar face in the Indian music industry with a huge fan following after he made it to the TOP 5 of Fame Gurukul on Sony Tv where judges like Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Akhtar and KK highly commended his performance.
Worked on film projects like Raamleela n Hawaizada
He has been a part of the Grand Jury for SaReGaMaPa Lil Champs
His projects as Music Director and Singer for movies include Kya Masti Kya Dhoom(releasing next) , Main zaroor aunga, The Dark Side of Mumbai City, Ishqeria, Ek tha Hero, Silsila Badalte Riston Ka, Khwaabon ki Zamin par, SOT (Sony Liv), Mehbooba( Telugu), Bisile & Kanchana (Kannada) besides numerous albums and advertisements.
He has performed at over 1000 shows across the globe & has shared the stage with many stalwarts of Indian music industry.
