Formed in July 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee, Sanders Ferry is a three piece indie-rock project. Their heavy percussion, intermittent bass riffs, and punchy, guitar-led melodies accompany lyrics based around themes of abandonment, trauma, and recovery. Singer-songwriter/guitarist, Jack-Robert Huffman was Sanders Ferry’s founder, with drummer Fisher Robinson and bassist/multi-instrumentalist Matthew Landon Boone being enlisted in early 2020 due to the departure of several former bandmates. They released their debut single, “Hope You’re Happy” in late July 2019, and later “Man On The Right” in December of that year. In between their official releases, they released miscellaneous material to various social media sites, most notably an interview with Nate Burr of Raccoon Tour. In late May of 2020, they announced that they had began recording their first EP.
