Sandtrap

Jimi Terei (drums), Kainoa Ogilvie (guitar and vocals), and Luca Keltie (bass) first crossed paths in a high school music class, where they found themselves in a soundproof room armed with the tools to make a lot of noise—and they loved every second of it. Drawn together by a shared love for bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, and Radiohead, they began by covering their favorite songs before quickly venturing into writing their own music. Later, the trio welcomed Luke Bennett (guitar) into the fold, officially forming Sandtrap.

Sandtrap's sound is a vibrant blend of indie rock that evokes a sense of nostalgia while feeling fresh and original. The band has kept their momentum going strong with regular gigs and the release of several singles. Following their debut EP, Colder Moments, Sandtrap has continued to evolve, releasing two new singles, "The Porcelain Pot" and "No Stranger." These tracks, produced with the expertise of Scott Seabright, showcase a fresh direction for the band.
