Sandy Stanton

Sandy Stanton, is a singer songwriter, producer and current vocalist and guitarist of the band "Sad Vacation".
He has had a fruitful existence touring solo under his own name for a long while now supporting some big names in the industry, for example...The Fall, Badly Drawn Boy, Glen Matlock, The Meteors, Phil Bates of ELO plus many more. He has a unique style that you just can't seem to put your finger on, but still sounds familiar. Somewhere between the iconic sounds and artists of the past, yet also maintaining a modern and unique stamp of his own.
His unique earnest songwriting style and lyrics with a sweet yet sometimes slightly aggressive delivery is a mesmerizing experience to behold especially during a live performance.
Hailing from Staffordshire in the UK. A devoted lover of all things guitar pop and rock, like early 50s/60s Rock n Roll, Country, Rockabilly, Indie Guitar Pop and the Post Punk that emerged then progressing into Alt Rock in the 90s.
Stanton was in a few different outfits as a vocalist and guitarist, these consist of The A&E Band, The Adlibs, and Despicable The Youth.
Stanton is currently on the road and in the recording studio working on the first release for the Alt Rock band "Sad Vacation".
Sandy Stanton was also the vocalist/bass guitarist in the Heavy Rock band "Kill The Witch", alongside vocalist and guitarist Karl Slater and drummer Tom Wilson.
