folk-tronika artist on the rise.
BIO:
With over a decade of experience as a professional vocalist performing Jazz and popular music, SANIJA now set to release her originals globally, following her passion for creating nature-inspired music that transcends human worries and transports listeners to a different reality. Her show is a stunning blend of eclectic variety of storytelling, authentic experimentation with voices and synth sounds.
Her first self-produced release under the new project SANIJA is in Latvian, reconnecting with her native language listeners. The song "Tik daudz - Tev ļauts" ("So Much Given to You") came to her while visiting her hometown in Latvia, following a morning swim in a small lake. The nature-inspired lyrics and melody flowed effortlessly and have been preserved in the final version. The song describes the power of nature, which heals and inspires. Here are some lines from it: "A flower blossoms in my hands, who will give me such joy..." "I sparkle in the grass stalks, who will give me such happiness..." "I found solace in the embrace of trees, who will give me such strength..." .."So much, so much given to you..."
