Santa Chiara, formerly chickpee, is the solo project of Italian musician, Chiara D'Anzieri. She was born in Turin, IT and since age 10 she has been a classically trained cellist and spent her developing years touring and performing in various orchestras around Europe. She stepped away from the classical world to explore other instruments, songwriting and working in studios as a producer and writer. In 2018, she met her partner, American musician Ron Gallo and have since been making music together.
Now living in the U.S., Santa Chiara details her experience moving across the world from her homeland and navigating the immigration process on her debut album "IMPORTED" due later in 2022, her first time writing and singing in English and playing most of the instruments herself. http://santachiaramusic.com
