Sao Joao

Hailing from Long Island, Sao Joao is a self proclaimed "banger specialist" and up and coming pop artist looking to take over the world with his unique sound, catchy choruses, and well, his bangers. With a catchy sound heavily influenced by pop, jazz, house, disco, and rock, Sao Joao looks to take over not only the dancefloor at your local club, but also every major venue world-wide.


Sao Joao grew up in a Portuguese/Italian household which instilled in him a love for travel and culture. His father, who showed him Free Bird as his first exposure to popular music, and his Uncle who gave him his first guitar at 8 years old, both planted the seed for his love of music. Guitarist by trade, Sao Joao oddly enough fell in love with pop, house, disco, rnb, and even salsa, eventually combing these genres to make his signature sound.


In 2020, he released his debut single, Metropolitan, being played not only across the USA, but in countries like Germany, Italy, Portugal, and even Guatemala. Including his next upcoming singles, Sao Joao looks to release an album before the summer of 2021.
