Sara Correia’s voice, unique interpretation, and powerful persona have captivated audiences since she was merely 13 years old. By that young age, Sara had already won Grande Noite do Fado, a competition that identifies the future great names of Portugal’s traditional song. With her first self-titled album, “Sara Correia,” the Fadista was praised by critics as “the greatest voice of the new generation.” Her first long play was also her debut as an award-winning singer. Sara Correia won Best New Artist at the Radio Festival Awards and amassed two nominations for PLAY the Portuguese Music Awards.
Sara Correia’s second album, “Do Coração”, confirmed that we are in the presence of a special voice, a remarkable interpretation, and unrivalled artistic power. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Portuguese Roots Album category and won the 2021 PLAY Award for Best Fado Album.
“Liberdade”, the third long play, showcases the most authentic Sara Correia to date. The album will get a special release on October 25th including the live recording of 1 of her 4 her sold out Coliseu shows in 2024 and songs that were previously out of albuns.
