Sarabeth Hearon

Sarabeth Hearon is an American pianist, composer, and singer/songwriter. Her music bridges many styles, from modern classical to new age, alternative to mainstream. A classically trained pianist, Sarabeth grew up in a musical military family and moved many times due to her father’s career. Her grandmother, a classical piano teacher, was a big influence on her and she began playing piano at seven and guitar at fourteen. Sarabeth began writing original songs in her teens and studied piano, voice, and music composition at Duke University, where she was lead singer of the campus rock band. While continuing her songwriting education at the Sorbonne in Paris, France, she performed in Parisian cafes and nightclubs on the French Riviera. After returning to the U.S., she settled in New York City, then ultimately relocated to Nashville to join the songwriting community there. Sarabeth’s instrumental songs feature beautiful piano themes, often enchantingly orchestrated with violin, guitar, and synthesizers, creating an elegant, orchestral effect. Her inspiring and haunting vocal music is art from the soul, where the power of her words and voice communicate feelings of romance, hope, and love. Her songs have been featured on internationally-syndicated radio programs.
