Sarah Bird is an award-winning Berlin-based, Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist. Flirtatious and bubbly, her honey-laced vocals and signature cool-girl vibes are in good company with Julia Michaels, Alessia Cara, and Maisie Peters.
This small-town girl from Oz grew up dreaming of a world stage and her ambitious nature led her to a solo street performing tour across Europe and the U.K. After basing herself in London for two years, Sarah found herself being drawn back to the generosity and vibrant street art culture of Berlin, and it wasn’t long before she called Germany home.
In the midst of the pandemic, a song that was recorded with just voice and acoustic guitar won Sarah the 2020 European Songwriting Award. After catching the attention of the head of Ultra Music Publishing at a live performance at the Frankfurt MusikMesse, Sarah was signed to Ultra Music in 2021 introducing her singer-songwriter skills to the EDM world. Now working with electronic artists and producers around the world, Sarah brings a deeper meaning to EDM with her sophisticated lyrics and unique sound, whilst still delivering catchy dance floor anthems.
This October sees the release of her chill, tropical house remix of Uncle Cracker's hit "Follow Me" with Charming Horses and Rufus Palma, and her successful dance rendition of A Ha’s “Take on Me” with DJ Mia Amare has led to many other original collaborations with major & independent labels, whilst still focussing on her own artist projects.
