From her soft kind heart to her soulful powered voice, Sarah has made a deep impact on the lives of those who not only know her but listen to her music. Her songs speak to the heart of real-life struggles in our human condition and how love meets us in that.
Singing since she was very little, Sarah’s always had a passion for music. Some of her early on musical influences came from her parents: such as Celine Dion, Amy Grant, Shania Twain, and the Gaithers.
Since then her love for different genres expanded and some of her favorite bands shaped her as the musician she is today. Some of those bands are Switchfoot, Relient K, Underoath, Bon Jovi, Queen, and Chris Tomlin.
At the age of 15, she began to pursue guitar and started a garage band with her childhood friend Brad and from there several different bands formed throughout her jr high and high school career (mostly metal music). In 2008, playing bass for her metal band Letters to Guinevere, they got to open for one of their all-time favorite metal bands at the time For Today. Shortly after that, Sarah graduated from high school and attended college a year later, still pursuing music with a more softer edge.
In 2010, Sarah released her first self-produced album Lighthouse, opening for her favorite musician Aaron Gillespie. About 6 years later she released another self-produced album called Vagabond at her show opening up for Unspoken.
