Sarah Howell grew up with a deep appreciation and attachment to many different genres of music. She spent the first thirteen years of her life touring with her parents and their Christian rock band, soaking up everything from the mesmerizing concerts to the behind-the-scenes songwriting and studio recording sessions. She fell in love with all of it. Her dad introduced her to artists like U2, John Mayer, Bruce Hornsby, Ryan Adams, and countless others that shaped her songwriting style and taste for soulful music. Sarah writes songs today because she believes music is a powerful tool. It connects people from all over the world who speak different languages and hold different beliefs. Because of its common thread across generations, countries, and people with varying backgrounds, Sarah works to create music that anyone can turn on and feel a sense of empowerment and belonging.
