Sarah Lexa is a singer/songwriter from Connecticut who writes and records songs in the basement with her dad, Mike Tocci, a Grammy-winning audio engineer. She released her first album, "From, a Less Cool Version of You," on August 23, 2024. She started the album during her sophomore year of high school and finished it the summer before her sophomore year of college. The title sums up the feeling of growing up, tying back to a letter she wrote as freshman to her high school graduate self. Many of the guitars you hear on the album are played by Jason Darling, who has played for artists like Leona Naess and James Maddock, as well as his own solo work.
