Sarah Somnia

Sarah Somnia is a Berlin-born musician now living near Salzburg. Music has always been her language. She started playing the piano as a child and soon found comfort in turning thoughts and emotions into melodies. Over time, those melodies grew into full songs — small emotional universes that she shapes from her home studio, one sound at a time.

Sarah describes her style as cinematic pop — emotional, melodic, and atmospheric. She is inspired by film scores, the emotional depth of composers like Hans Zimmer and Thomas Bergersen, and the timeless music of the ’90s and 2000s that shaped her childhood. Sarah's songs often feel like memories you can listen to — stories told through sound rather than words.

She writes because these songs are part of her — and she doesn’t want to keep them hidden.

Her debut album, Love x Demons, explores the highs and lows of love in all its chaos and beauty. Each track captures a feeling: joy, pain, desire, disbelief, or hope.
