Sarcasm

Sarcasm was formed in 1987 in the golden days of thrash metal in Ex-Yugoslavia. With an exeption of a few years in the 90's when we had no place to play and we took some time to sort out our lives, we've been thrashing continuously until this day.

What you need to know about the band...
We are old-school Thrash Metal band with a specific Balkan Area Thrash sound. We are true to our Metal mission: to make notice of injustices, social errors and terrors, corrupt politics, ecology, as well as our own specific national tragedies, which us Balkanians have plenty. We sometimes sing in English, because some songs are targeted speciffically to the world (album Something To Believe In) and sometimes in Slovenian. Even if translated, some of these songs might not make much sense to you. Contrary to many other thrash bands, we dont whine about our misfortunes and psycho states of mind, we follow the formula: 1. present the problem 2. describe the shittiness of it 3. offer a solution or 4. if solution is not possible, call for a revolution. Or 5. a bloodbath. Or 6. don't care and party on.

Anyway: we are eager to play, we love and live our music, this is what we do.
