born in Punjab, is a prominent Punjabi singer and one of India’s leading female vocalists and she has also worked as a playback singer in Superhit Punjabi Films.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English and Music, as well as a B.Ed from Punjabi University, Patiala.
Sargi maan began her music career in early 2017 with the song “Tooma,” written by her mother, Gurwinder Kaur. She gained global recognition in 2020 with the song “Jisma Toh Paar Di Gal,” captivating audiences with her melodious voice. In 2022, she contributed to the soundtrack of several hit movies, including movie Bajre Da Sitta with the song “Gali Lahore Di,” and movie Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne with the songs “Koka” and “Bachelor Party,” alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Inderjit Nikku.
Sargi maan has released several popular tracks such as “Nakhra,” “Nakhra-2,” “Fire,” “Desi Touch,” “Ghar Diyan Yaadan,” “Vidaai,” “Soulmate,” “Mirza,” “Jodi,” “Jaan,” “Pagg Di Kalgi,” and “Feem Te Pyar” She performs live shows both in India and internationally.
In recognition of her talent, Sargi maan received the Youth Icon Award at the PEFA 2023 and the Popular Punjabi Pop Female Rising Star Award at the PTC Music Awards 2024.
