SARU XM is an Eritrean-Swedish R&B singer, songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. Her sound offers a sensual, gritty and unique approach to R&B; gather influences from the genre's 90s and early 00s. The EP was also noticed by DSP editors in both the US and the UK. In 2024, SARU XM was personally selected by Destin Conrad as the opener during his EU/UK tour in the Nordics.

Divided into themes of inner dialogue with yourself, conversations with the partner, and the decision to part ways. 'Return 2 Sender' explores unreciprocated love and featuring a darker, soul-influenced soundscape. The EP was also adapted into a short film to further bring its emotions to life.
