Inspired by artists like <a href="spotify:artist:06HL4z0CvFAxyc27GXpf02" data-name="Taylor Swift">Taylor Swift</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1McMsnEElThX1knmY4oliG" data-name="Olivia Rodrigo">Olivia Rodrigo</a>, her upbeat, authentic, and soulful songs explore the most uplifting aspects of life.

Music has been Sasha’s greatest passion. From age 5, she has had a lifelong love for singing and performing which led her to perform anywhere she could—from school plays to after-school programs like School of Rock.

After being discovered by the music production company Little Bird Big Sound, Sasha began producing and releasing her own songs. Her life was then impacted by a metastatic Ewing sarcoma diagnosis, a bone cancer that had spread to her neck, arms, legs, and lungs.

During her strenuous cancer treatment, music became one of Sasha’s greatest motivations to endure. She continued releasing music throughout her incredible recovery, escaping her pain through the embrace of art, as she confesses, “It really helped me get through those hard times, and I hope my music can help others too.”

Now in remission, Sasha has found a way to spread the positive mindset that helped her through her most difficult times, crafting songs about freedom, happiness, light-hearted fun, courage, and resilience, while blending vibrant elements of pop and electropop.

Sasha Friedman has released three singles since her 2023 debut, with her song <a href="spotify:album:68FMYPeY54UAJyNOndHBZV" data-name="Free To Be Me">Free To Be Me</a> reaching the 7th spot on the iTunes pop charts. In 2024, she signed with Rexius Records.
