Saturnino Ropasanta es un colectivo artístico, nacido en Caracas- Venezuela, que toma el sonido reggae-dub como punto inicial de su experimentación musical. En su primer EP “Sol y Caribe” hay reggae-dub y afrobeat, siempre buscando la experimentación e integración de elementos musicales prestados de otros géneros y tendencias.

Ahora en su nueva casa, la Ciudad de México, cocina nueva música, integrando a más artistas en la propuesta, buscando más colaboraciones para experimentar, en las que las ideas musicales fluyan, haciendo del hecho compositivo y performático un ejercicio de libertad creativa- colectiva.

Saturnino Ropasanta is an artistic group, born in Caracas- Venezuela, that uses the reggae-dub sound as a starting point for their musical experimentation. On their first EP “Sol y Caribe” there is reggae-dub and afrobeat, always searching for the experimentation and integration of musical elements borrowed from other genres and tendencies.

Currently, set in Mexico City, they are working on new projects, integrating more artists to their proposal and looking for more collaborations for experimenting with the flow of musical ideas, making composition and performance an exercise of collective-creative freedom.
