Savinnah is a 22-year-old singer and songwriter from Kenya. She has always had a love for music from and started singing from the age of four. She started writing her own songs at the age of fifteen. Other than singing and writing, she also plays both piano and guitar.
Savinnah’s music not only showcases her talent in singing but also her diversity. Her songs cover the genres of pop, afro pop, hip hop and modern R&B. When it comes to her goals as an artist, Savinnah looks up to and draws inspiration from various artists but mainly Rihanna and Drake. Other influences include Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Billie Eilish, Tems, Adele, Khalid, Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran and Whitney Houston to mention a few.
Savinnah released her first single ‘Trouble’ on June 30th and plans to release her first EP sometime before the end of the year.. She believes her entry into the music industry will change the game and open doors for her both nationally and internationally but most importantly allow her to share her talent with the world.
