Sawndass Music is a Filipino hip hop collective from Quezon City, Philippines, known for hit singles like "Malayo Ka Man," "Sulyap," "Tinotoyo," "Kahit Ganyan Ka," and more.

In March 2020, they released their first single, "Malayo Ka Man," on digital platforms followed by "Kahit Ganyan Ka" and "Tinotoyo." During the COVID-19 pandemic, when people were at home and online, "Malayo Ka Man" became a hit. Its lyrics about long-distance relationships resonated with many, especially those separated from loved ones. The song went viral in the Philippines, gaining popularity among OFWs and even trending in other countries with large Filipino communities.

As a result, all three singles reached remarkable milestones, each gaining millions of streams within three months.

In July 2020, they dropped "Sulyap," which sparked a viral "Dance Craze Challenge." The song gained massive popularity, even in Southeast Asia, where people created dance videos despite not understanding the Tagalog lyrics.

By the end of 2020, "Malayo Ka Man," "Tinotoyo," and "Sulyap" each reached 30 million views, collectively nearing 100 million in just one year — a major achievement for an independent group.

To thank their supporters, they released "Darating" in Dec 2020, performed by Jr Crown, Kath, Thome, Cyclone, and Young Weezy. The song speaks of hope and the belief that the right person will come into one's life.

To date, they have almost 265 million views and over 700 thousand subscribers on YouTube.
