Sayantika Ghosh is a multilingual singer-songwriter, music programmer, and vocal producer from Kolkata, India. Her music is mainly dream pop and dark pop, characterised by her airy vocals. Her songs often talk of nostalgia and self reflection.
She first started writing at the age of 10, influenced by a variety of music (The Beatles, Coldplay, Gorillaz, to name a few). In 2012, she came to IIT Bombay to pursue her Masters degree in Geology, but during its course, finally decided to pursue music full time.
She released her debut EP, Yesterday Forever in 2018, which was covered by Rolling Stone Magazine and showcased at Musexpo, Hollywood. In 2020, she released "Embrace Yourself" which talks of self-love; as well as her debut Bengali single, “Aami Banglar”, also covered by Rock Street Journal. Her most recent single “Samurai”, is her grooviest track yet. It’s been featured on Rolling Stone and Spotify playlists, and is all about finding balance between the opposing forces within oneself!
