Scalladosis

From the suburbs of Newfoundland, Canada straight out of his basement, Scalladosis is a singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, and musician. When he started writing songs around 2016, they were very goofy and made for fun/messing around. But in 2018, he began listening to rap music, and then started to take his music more seriously. He uploaded many of his songs on YouTube during the COVID-19 pandemic from April 2020 to November 2020, but then deleted them all because he didn't like them and how they were mixed.

Born in 2006 in Grand Falls-Windsor and raised in Paradise, Scalladosis’s musical journey began when he started taking piano lessons when he was 5 years old. Later on, he started playing alto saxophone in his school band when he was 10. But when his father bought a Yamaha MX-61 keyboard in 2017, he began experimenting with the 1000+ sounds on the keyboard, and that was when his musical journey had a big evolution. Then in late 2023, he downloaded FL Studio and began experimenting there as well.

Having a wide variety of musical influences throughout his upbringing, such as Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Darkie, and Weird Al Yankovic, has made Scalladosis a very versatile musical artist. These influences have led him to make many different styles of genres, including hip-hop/rap, meme rap, pop, rock, alternative, and even EDM. Now he only does various styles of rap.
