In the green fields of a little village in Holland, the rebellious teenager, the perfect son-in-law, your favourite colleague, and a hyperactive teenager decided to form the Indie Pop band, Scarlet Rose. In 2019 they did their first shows in the famous Cavern Club Liverpool for the International Pop Overthrow Festival. After the global pandemic, the band thrived by touring through Holland, Belgium, and Germany. In the same year, they released their first ever EP and performed live on a Dutch national radio station, Qmusic. In the year 2022, they brought out their second EP and to celebrate that, they went back to the United Kingdom to do a tour of their own. The band kicked off 2023 with their largest gig to date, by playing the after-show for The Kooks at AFAS Live in Amsterdam. This was followed by a tour through Holland and Belgium. In 2024 and 2025, the band made a big career step with a European tour with over 50 shows through Holland, Belgium, Germany, England, Wales and Scotland. They also played bigger shows at Oerol Festival, Parade Festival and Norden Festival. The band describe their music as a love child between 'Paul Simon', 'Vampire Weekend' and 'Two Door Cinema Club'. You take a cocktail shaker and put in a bit of Rock n'Roll, Latin-American rhythms and some African melodies and there is the Scarlet Rose sound.
