Scattered Dreams

Scattered Dreams is a UK-based 2-piece music collaboration made up of Gerry Turner and Claire Mitchell-Brown. The fusion of these two modern-happy-goths took place in 2017 through a musician-finding website, as they discovered their shared interest in artists such as “All About Eve” and “Anathema.” Separated geographically they decided to collaborate via the internet.


The duo aren’t afraid to be different with their eclectic, progressive music that often dares to be more linear than most.


Classic rock guitars build over lush, spacious synths; aggressive, hard-hitting rhythmic parts; and haunting, atmospheric ambience interweave with Claire’s pure voice. The resulting music leaves their listeners energised, yet reflective.


This is a musical entity that finds the most beauty within angst and reflection of prior poor choices, but leaves their audience with a sense of hope and daring to “dream.”


Currently the musical duo are working on their debut EP called “Emerald Blue” due for release in 2022. Their self-titled second single “Scattered Dreams” and debut single, also titled “Emerald Blue” are available now on all major digital platforms.
