Hi! I’m friends with SCHI and came here to write this bio. By chance I live near his house and study medicine with him in Blumenau, Brazil. Lucas Schimmelpfennig was born in Caxias do Sul and we met precisely because of the music. We both like the same genres and discussions about music. As a producer/composer he’s inspired by <a href="spotify:artist:4tZwfgrHOc3mvqYlEYSvVi" data-name="Daft Punk">Daft Punk</a>’s futurism, <a href="spotify:artist:0CRfAs5qmkRgw9x9etNGqH" data-name="Octave One">Octave One</a>’s industrialism and <a href="spotify:artist:6LHsnRBUYhFyt01PdKXAF5" data-name="Bob Moses">Bob Moses</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2I4hRNCYkPKJQlkoEZKjYx" data-name="Monolink">Monolink</a>’s symbiosis between guitar, piano, vocals and synths. SCHI’s an example of a music enthusiast who made sure his dream would come true with the release of his fully autoral and independent EP, built in his home, filtered by the opinions of some friends - including me.
Fruit of a love for the creative process that includes from the writing of the lyrics all the way to the mastering, VOYAGER is the liberation of the musical strength of someone who knew how to use the streaming technologies, the tradings of musical instruments and the tutorials on the web to give birth to an experimental, alternative and moving atmosphere like <a href="spotify:artist:50Lr1puweM1hFsF1LpIZLM" data-name="WhoMadeWho">WhoMadeWho</a>. Set with piano and guitar chords, vocals and the power of the synthesizers, SCHI is willing to introduce his art to the world while reaches for his diploma and the debut of his first album.
