Architect, musicologist and producer, Schicco Salles has been dedicated to music for more than four decades as a researcher, with special interest in current music trends, with roots in Classical Music, Electronic Music, World Music and Ethnic Music, as well as Contemporary Music in all its forms; and continues his incessant search for new sounds within the musical universe.
Throughout his journey, he has been involved in various musical fields such as radio programs, soundtracks (sound design) for dance and theater and projects aimed at the fields of World Music and Music Therapy.
His style is the synthesis of his extensive listening experience, drawing inspiration from a variety of composers, especially in the field of classical music, film scoring, and the Ambient genre.
Schicco Salles believes that music is not a matter of virtuosity in the execution of techniques; rather, it is the spontaneous result of inspiration channeled through mental processes and perhaps even some spiritual energy emitted by the Universe.
