Scott Mac

Scott Mac is an artist from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Influenced by the Pop, Acoustic, Punk and Electronic music of his childhood and home, Scott Mac set out to his find his voice with his latest recordings. Beginning his project in 2020, his debut tracks 'Honey' and 'The Feeling' were supported by BBC Introducing. During lockdown he created a Tiktok account which has gained half a million views, and allowed for another platform to express his music. This would set the tone for later recordings, fully immersing Mac in a world of diverse recording and songwriting methods that drew from local and international sounds. His recent collaboration with Tribbs and C-BooL has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, pushing his writing forward to a bigger audience. Now armed with pop sensibilities, traditional singer-songwriter melodies and world music rhythms, Scott Mac emerges as one of Belfast most interesting songwriters. He is a multi-instrumentalist producer who creates most of his work in his home set-up, writing stories about relationships, life in the 21st century and the impact of social media on our social culture. Coming from a small village just outside Belfast, Scott has always strived to showcase his talent and has years of performance experience in the busy venues of Belfast and beyond. Writing music is his passion, and he tries to create a relatable story through his lyrics with a vision of having a lasting impression on his audience.
