Scott Michael Cavagan is a solo artist hailing from the North east of England.
In 2019 Scott released his much anticipated debut album ‘<a href="spotify:track:2p83m1HdpIz9ow7kUE2kmx" data-name="21st Century Love">21st Century Love</a>’ via Sapien Records with a raft of guests including <a href="spotify:artist:0RUEHcBiENFEqxgicqS2ig" data-name="The Stranglers">The Stranglers</a> Baz Warne, <a href="spotify:artist:3mIj9lX2MWuHmhNCA7LSCW" data-name="The 1975">The 1975</a> sideman John Waugh, <a href="spotify:artist:2xPxXPgmZFs7x6xRFpHwkq" data-name="The Ordinary Boys">The Ordinary Boys</a> bassist James Gregory and Jeff Mantas founder of metal legends <a href="spotify:artist:5fwaejlOHVBAw1KhIPPaQe" data-name="Venom">Venom</a>.
He ended 2019 supporting former <a href="spotify:artist:0cc6vw3VN8YlIcvr1v7tBL" data-name="Mötley Crüe">Mötley Crüe</a> and current <a href="spotify:artist:6VDAPUov4yNDHyQlPqrpNH" data-name="The Dead Daisies">The Dead Daisies</a> vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:0danyQ9A5BKBm1YozPJhoy" data-name="John Corabi">John Corabi</a> . The album was promoted across social media by Sean Moore of <a href="spotify:artist:2uH0RyPcX7fnCcT90HFDQX" data-name="Manic Street Preachers">Manic Street Preachers</a> a significant moment given Scott’s love for the band.
An EP '<a href="spotify:track:0HGkRdMYUcAc8CZ04Db6Ia" data-name="To Be Someone">To Be Someone</a>' was released in 2021 showing a harder political edge with Powerplay Magazine claiming 'This EP will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.'
A new single ‘<a href="spotify:album:7lFH8pmTNR0AOo6NwyZK93" data-name="Guilty Pleasure">Guilty Pleasure</a>’ was released in November 2022, the New Wave influenced track was released with a remix by Franny Griffiths of multi platinum selling band <a href="spotify:artist:76vZk3TWaVcNiP7H7in9fu" data-name="Space">Space</a> .
He shared stages with <a href="spotify:artist:3jNwnthjUjHYvjyvRGfWuQ" data-name="Terrorvision">Terrorvision</a> frontman <a href="spotify:artist:5u3QBVu1UngU6cJZzZ8R32" data-name="Tony Wright">Tony Wright</a> performed at NORTHERN KIN FESTIVAL and was personally invited to support indie legends <a href="spotify:artist:76vZk3TWaVcNiP7H7in9fu" data-name="Space">Space</a> on a number of tour dates.
He has collaborated with the <a href="spotify:artist:21UJ7PRWb3Etgsu99f8yo8" data-name="Stereophonics">Stereophonics</a> drummer Jamie Morrison and his cover of @<a href="spotify:track:0pUVeEgZuNyFzIMKp67RbS" data-name="Eyes Without A Face">Eyes Without A Face</a> was personally shared by <a href="spotify:artist:7lzordPuZEXxwt9aoVZYmG" data-name="Billy Idol">Billy Idol</a> across his social media.
After a brief hiatus he has been busy recording his second album and returned to the stage in May 2025 to support <a href="spotify:artist:6hLKAj2U3e4vfR6FUNB7Yh" data-name="Glen Matlock">Glen Matlock</a> of the Sex Pistols, Glen himself claiming Scott and his live band had been ‘brilliant.’
