Scott Radway is a multi-instrumentalist and composer known for working across multiple genres of music. Based out of Philadelphia, PA, he has produced forward-thinking pop music under his own name, as well as scores for film and dance that incorporate elements of jazz, classical, experimental and electronic music. He has also been a member of various genre-stretching bands as either drummer or keyboardist.
In 1999, while a music composition major at Temple University, he helped form the progressive metal band Divided Sky, serving as drummer and co-songwriter, later leaving to form the more experimental Now Soon Nowhere, where he was the primary songwriter and keyboard player. In 2008 he joined Chicago’s TUB RING as drummer, toured the United States and recorded “Secret Handshakes”. In 2010 he left to join Baltimore’s POLKADOT CADAVER (featuring members of DOG FASHION DISCO), with whom he would tour extensively and write/record for 2013’s “Last Call In Jonestown” and “From Bethlehem To Oblivion”, as well as the 2012 album “Aloha” under singer Todd Smith’s moniker EL CREEPO.
Along the way he composed a number of works under his own name, including the full length score for Becky Radway’s dance piece “...And They Built A Crooked House”, soundtracks for short films, and a string of pop albums: “Former Ghosts” (2012), “Heathens” (2014), “All Stations” (2015), and “Sunsetter” (2022). He also formed chill/groove band LO-PRIESTESS with Gina LC, releasing their first album in 2021.
