Seabuckthorn is an alias for the solo work of English composer <a href="spotify:artist:2EvzKNwBNFCTw4skoMl1HD" data-name="Andy Cartwright">Andy Cartwright</a>, using guitars and other string instruments to form a mixture of approaches, often with layered accompaniments. Generally the songs sit between the folk, ambient and experimental genres.
Cartwright has been actively touring internationally, performing live in festivals & events throughout Europe, as well as making music for film, documentaries and contemporary dance. Previous albums have been released on labels Bookmaker Records, Lost Tribe Sound, Eilean Rec, IIKKI, Fluid Audio, Quiet Details and LAAPS.
