Sean Mór

Sean Mor’s journey began when he begged his parents to get him a guitar in 7th grade. Not coming from a musical family, it was hard for his parents to understand, but there was clearly an innate desire to create. His love for dance music blossomed when he ran across the Monstercat channel on YouTube. The aggressive drums and throbbing basslines captured his imagination in a way that he never imagined. As he dove deeper into dance music culture, he found himself at his first festival. It was there that he discovered house music. And while D&B had inspired him to discover, house inspired him to create. Sean immediately sought space to learn how to recreate that feeling. With each release and performance, Sean continues to chase the excitement he experienced at that first festival. It’s all in an effort to pass that sudden reawakening along to others. In a call back to his love for D&B, his music is saturated in thick fluid basslines and curious sound design. Yet he sustains the jack and shuffle that led him to his love for house. His years of playing guitar can be heard in his inherent sense of melodic flair. Releases on R3 Life and Music and Tech Avenue Records are positive proof that he has made short order in establishing himself as a unique and expressive recording artist. Sean intends to utilize his capacity to provoke peak dance floor experiences for years to come.
